Monthly Recommendations

We are almost there! Spring is just around the corner and with days getting longer and nights warming up, keep an eye on your gardens and plants as they start growing. This is a great time to begin your feeding schedule so that the nutrients are available to the plants when spring is in full swing. As for your deciduous trees and shrubs, you will start to see the limbs swell as they get ready to push their leaves, try to hold off on fertilizing them until the leaves fully emerge. February is also the first month you can fertilize your citrus trees, but try to wait until at least the middle of the month before doing so. Finally, start preparing your vegetable and flower gardens, either with seed or getting your soil ready for starter plants.
